Don’t just celebrate America’s Independence Day, July is National Blueberry Month as well!! Woooo Hoooo!

The Blueberry Fizz

1 oz Blueberry Vodka

2 oz Champagne

Top with diet Sprite

Put a few mixed berries in the bottom of a champagne glass. Pour vodka, champagne, and diet sprite into glass.

With unusual-flavored vodkas being all the rage, stock up at your local liquor store, and you’ll be on your way to creating many new fun and tasty low-cal drinks!

Our Blueberry Fizz combines the likes of blueberry vodka, champagne (for the fizz), lemon lime soda (a low calorie favorite of ours), and fresh blueberries for the delicious eye appeal.  Blueberries have long been known to have a large antioxidant effect.

Antioxidants are such a hot topic today because they help our bodies protect against disease and age-related health risks.  Even better, fill your champagne glass up with wild blueberries- your body will thank you!  Wild blueberries have more antioxidant effects versus cultivated blueberries.

This low-cal cocktail can be enjoyed any time of day, but would enhance any brunch it was invited to.
