A Cocktail just for FNCE

Some of you have NO idea what FNCE is, so let me fill you in! I’m a registered dietitian (RD) and once a year over 10,000 RDs get together for the American Dietetic Association’s Food & Nutrition Conference & Expo (or FNCE.) In honor of my RD buddies who choose to use, I’m sharing a cocktail recipe just for you! 

We’ll call it the… Whiskey Wendy!! 

This drink is one I call a “no brainer.”

If you’re trying to decrease your caloric intake but still enjoy a fun drink (and stay awake), try the Whiskey Wendy!

Again, this is a “no-brainer” and I’m going to give you two options.

Leaded Whiskey Wendy (with caffeine)

1.5 oz Whiskey of choice

4 oz Diet Coke/Coke Zero

2-3 limes wedges or fruit garnish of choice

OR unleaded (caffeine-free) if you just want to fall asleep and throw in the fun towel for the night-use diet ginger ale instead of Diet Coke.
