Thirsty Thursday’s Limoncello Spritzer

14 Apr

As most of you know, I love all things Italian. One of my favorite Italian liqueurs is Limoncello. For some people it’s a little too lemony but not for me! I actually like it enough to have more than a few sips. That’s why we’re turning it into a sippin’ smart cocktail (but I’m sure you know a spritzer isn’t exactly a new concept).

Try it like this…

1 oz Limoncello

3-4 oz plain sparkling water

Place ice in a cocktail glass, pour in Limoncello and sparkling water. Gently stir and garnish with a sprig of fresh mint and/or slice of lemon. De-lish!

Approximately 75 calories

I love to serve this after my super fantastic puttanesca-try it!

Thanks for the recipe Leslie. I LOVE Limoncello!

I made some in December and gave to some friends for Christmas. I think I made a double or triple batch. It was gone so fast. I got my recipe from Cooking Light.
